The Recreational Therapist is responsible for the development and implementation of client treatment plans, coordinates and monitors the recreational, aquatic, fitness and leisure activities. Works within an interdisciplinary to formulate a comprehensive treatment plan. This position will work out of our treatment centers in Ypsilanti, Farmington and Farmington Hills. This is a contingent/PRN position working as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or higher in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Leadership skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to learn new skills
Ability and willingness to set priorities
Ability to work as part on an interdisciplinary team and serve as a team member
Ability to lift, maneuver and carry up to 30lbs.
Acceptable driving record
Acceptable under the State of Michigan Good Moral Character Statute
Knowledgeable of HIPAA Privacy Rules

Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
Willingness to work evenings and weekends
