Provides professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices; demonstrates professional clinical leadership and oversight within the scope of the RN role.
Receives and collects key data while answering and triaging patient telephone calls. Identifies emergent medical and/or related patient situations and assists patients by assessing appropriate level of care required.
The RN serves as a medical care information resource for patients and their family. Documents complete and accurate patient records regarding calls received, data collected, services rendered, follow-up provided, and/or outcomes as described by the patient or family. Also performs nursing protocols including medication refills.
Qualifications:
1. Associates or Bachelor's degree/graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program.
2. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan.
3. One to two (1-2) years of clinical experience in a medical or physician office.
4. EMR (electronic medical record) experience preferred, Next Gen a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
