Our menu traces the shared history of many of these nations; from Tunisia, through to the Levant, Greece, Italy, Andalusia, and back around to Morocco.
Our namesake, Harissa, is emblematic of the food that we share, as it is one of many ingredients and techniques that have been traded throughout the region, and that can now be found on dining tables miles away from their native land.
Dining and working at El Harissa is itself an educational experience.
We want to expose people to the diverse flavors of the region that have yet to make an impact on the American palate.
