HR Associate Location:
Ypsilanti, MI (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Summary An AUTOMOTIVE OEM is looking for a HR ASSOCIATE to support the Human Resources Department and interact with multiple levels of employees and departments as needed.
This LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION (with possibility of extension and even transitioning to direct) will have a range of duties including performing a wide variety of administrative tasks including report preparation, data compilation, keeping records, reconciling invoices and bills.
This position will report to the Human Resources Manager and include utilizing excel and performing some data entry (at least initially).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Collect, audit and record various HR information to maintain the data accuracy Semi-monthly payroll coordination and collecting timesheets of non-exempt staff Administrate Time and Attendance System and support all employees as needed Gathers information and assists with preparation of reports Develop, maintain, analyze and/or assist with various human resources activities and procedures Manage all staff list, weekly headcount and maintain organization charts Respond to requests for verifications of employment Conduct new hire on boarding and orientation Maintain and update files as needed, support internal auditing of files and human resource processes Perform administrative functions in all HR data entry and management, etc Qualifications and Requirements Basic Excel skills and the ability to perform Data Entry and Data Management Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business requirements Flexible, organized and able to work effectively with all levels of employees Required Skills Proficient skills in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Proficient time management and organization skills Proficient self-management skills Proficient oral and written communication skills Must Haves:
Basic HR Exposure, Excel Skills, and Data Entry Experience Job Types:
