Marketing Generalist
Plastipak Packaging, Inc.
is seeking a Marketing Generalist to work in our fast-paced Global Business and Technology Center in Plymouth, MI.
As the Marketing Generalist, you will support our Sales and Marketing group by working closely with segment categories.
You Will:
Create Master Data in the ERP system (SAP) for site and sales usage Extend master data and material groups in SAP from site to site for consistency in supply Inform the Supply Planning Team of new materials to be forecasted Participate in phone calls and projects with Sales personnel and Customers Assist in managing inventory levels to minimize exposure through forecast updates Update and maintain Customer Material Information Record numbers (CMIRs) Identify obsolete materials from slow-moving reports Initiate billings for obsolete items and provide plant dispositions on obsolete materials Provide support to customers with report generation as requested by sales Aid in market research for potential new products or projects Collaborate with other Marketing Generalists and Analysts, the Pricing Team, and Sales to streamline processes and create growth opportunities Practice flexibility and time management as new tasks are assigned You Have:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, or a related field 1 year of experience Knowledge and effective use of computer software, such as Excel (strong understanding), MS Word, and PowerPoint.
SAP is a plus!
